This page explains what we collect through ai-shala.com, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read rather than to be legally impressive. If anything here is unclear, write to info@ai-shala.com and we will explain it.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you submit a form on this site — a demo request, a programme application, a waitlist entry, a job application or a general enquiry — we receive what you typed into it. That is typically your name, email address, institution, and whatever you wrote in the message.
Basic analytics. We use privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics to understand which pages are read. It records page views, approximate country and referrer. It does not set cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not build a profile of you.
What we do not collect. We do not run advertising trackers. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone, for any purpose.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, which is the only reason most of it exists
- To run a programme or a product pilot you have asked to be part of
- To understand, in aggregate, which of our writing is useful
Who else sees it
Form submissions are delivered to our inbox through a third-party form service, and our email is hosted by a mail provider. This site is served from a static hosting provider. These processors handle the data on our instruction and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Product data
Data inside our products — answer scripts, marks and student records in GunanQ — is governed by the agreement with the institution that owns it, not by this page. Assessment data stays within that institution's workspace and is not used to train shared models. Your IT team will get the specifics in writing before any pilot begins.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards so that we have context if you come back. Job applications are kept for the duration of the hiring process and, if you agree, for future openings. You can ask us to delete any of it at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to info@ai-shala.com and we will act on it — there is no form to fill in and no escalation path to navigate.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and, where it affects people who have already contacted us, tell them directly.
